Introduction

It is a device or circuit that produces DC power. In the case of a general regulator, the input voltage must be > output voltage, but DC-DC can have an output voltage higher than the input voltage.

The main circuit switches general DC into alternating current, boosts or steps down this alternating current using a coil, transformer, capacitance, etc., and then rectifies it again to make it into DC.
